Product Overview
Unlike wood, CPC’s product will not split or splinter, twist, warp, contains no knots and each piece is virtually identical in composition/strength and is termite and resistant to rot. One of the products produced has a very high insulation rating, is sound deadening, and can be made in different fire retardant ratings.
Competitive Analysis
Currently, there are no known competitors producing a product that uses 100% post-consumer waste unlike the patented extrusion process of CPC. Unlike other manufacturers (whose raw material is identified as a substantial cost expenditure), we are either provided with the raw material and/or a minor basis is incurred for the purchase of the raw material. The occasional purchase price of a specific grade of raw material remains significantly small in comparison. In general, the products we market can be sold substantially lower and at a more competitive price.
Prior to becoming operational, an analysis will be conducted to assess the demand of the product(s) utilized in the region where the facility is to be located. This is necessary for two reasons: 1) to ensure the product(s) CPC produces is a marketable product(s) based on the concentration of the construction environment, residential and/or commercial, and 2) to determine the type of molding apparatus is to be designed and manufactured.
Raw Material Suppliers and Industry
The major supply of raw material is generated by various entities which include consumers, hospitals, farmers, plastic film and container manufacturers, just to name a few. In California, there are approximately 245 MRFs in operation collecting millions of tons of such raw material.
Research and Development
During operation, CPC will conduct research and development on a numerous variety of new products, which will undergo substantial ASME testing. Our research and development will also be exploring the need to design and build new innovative molding equipment to provide unique molding designs utilized in the residential and commercial industry.
