CURRENT PROGRESS REPORT

JULY 2010 - MARCH 2011

Due to the economic climate during the Summer and Fall of 2010, funding for California's facility experienced a delay.  However, as a result of RTI's on-going perseverance and persistence, considerable progress has been made during February 2011. Therefore, the significance of this latest development will enable RTI the opportunity to provide CPC with a more detailed status report within the next few weeks.

In addition, during the past four months Wayne Ford has been diligently working at coordinating and managing the set up of an R&D ("model") facility in Tulsa, Oklahoma.  Depending upon weather conditions, Mr. Ford projects that the facility is anticipated to become operational in May 2011.

MARCH - JUNE 2010

As of the last posting in February, CPC has been continually involved in on-going meetings with a representative of Remarkable Technology, Inc. (RTI).

As a result, RTI has concluded that CPC has a viable process that will significantly impact the use of all post-consumer plastics.  Among the numerous benefits already realized, RTI recognizes that implementing CPC's "upcycling" process will also: (1) greatly impact the reduction of (global) landfill dumping, (2) create unlimited employment opportunities, and (3) produce products that are 100% green.

RTI’s recognition of CPC’s potentially significant impact upon the environment has been a major factor that has enabled the funding of CPC to come to fruition which is anticipated to occur within the first week of July 2010.

Recently, a professional web designer was contacted to implement a new format for CPC’s website.  Therefore, we are hopeful that the next set of updated information will be posted during September which will include progress of our startup operations.

PRIOR PROGRESS REPORTS

NOVEMBER 2009 - FEBRUARY 2010

Reflected are dates of eight
meetings with individuals and various groups that were conducted on November 23, December 9, December 19, December 30, January 10, February 1, and February 4 and which took place in Tulsa, OK; Pasadena, Rancho Cucamonga, and San Diego, CA; Las Vegas, NV; and Memphis, TN.  A brief summary follows:

  • Three of these meetings resulted in an interest to "take over" the business (which has been our dilemma from the beginning of our search to locate start-up funding).
  • Another meeting was to bring CPC to the attention of a Chinese manufacturing company that was concurrently "exploring" several projects, one of which included the possible utilization of CPC's upcycling process in China.  CPC had communicated to their representative of desiring to pursue further discussions if that company determined CPC's process was going to be one of their chosen projects.
  • We have had discussion with a plastic collector whose desire it is to provide CPC with raw material, the details of which will require further discussion since we are not currently operational.
  • There is an individual (in the Midwest) who has been aggressive in his approach to bring about meetings between CPC and "significant" contacts with the intent of obtaining the necessary start-up funding.
JULY - OCTOBER  2009

October 20 (Clovis, CA):  Johny Meijer, Wayne Ford and Peggy Johnson met with Wavepoint Venture representatives to provide them with details of CPC's process and how it was developed.  During this exhaustive meeting, among things that were discussed included CPC's operating strategy for the initial plant considered to be located in Hanford, CA.  Currently, we are awaiting a response from Wavepoint as to their decision.

August 27 (Ontario, CA):  CPC had the opportunity to meet with representatives of S&P Consultants.   S&P had been previously made aware of our Company's process and desired to meet with us and obtain in-depth information in consideration of their future interests to introduce our unique process to officials of the government of China with whom they had previously met.  Later, we were followed up with information indicating they would contact us after having completed existing projects on which S&P was concurrently working.

August 21 (Ontario, CA):  We had a meeting with representatives of Mass Mutual Financial Group at their office to discuss extensive services they could provide once CPC became operational.

August 19:  Pertinent information was provided to a representative of a San Diego-based financial institution to determine possible interest in funding CPC's start-up operations.  Due to the representative's missed opportunity to make contact to us with regard to his misassumption regarding our process, how collection of raw material would be accomplished, etc., funding to CPC would not be an option at this particular time.

July 31 (Lemoore, CA): A meeting with the State official was conducted to discuss pertinent information about CPC's process, etc. to be provided to CalPERS for consideration of CPC's funding.

July 31 (Hanford, CA):  Met with building representatives at the Pirelli building to confirm anticipated layout of various equipment.

July 30 (Santa Maria, CA):  Met with a representative of AG Plastics to become familiar with their collection practices and anticipated tonnage availability of agricultural plastics that could be a source of provision for CPC's proposed Hanford facility.

July 29 (Lebanon, OR):  Met with Entek (extruder company) Regional Sales Manager along with a tour of their manufacturing plant.  We were provided with details of how various extruders are manufactured and that each extruder has to be individually built according to certain specifications.  Because the development of each extruder is dependent upon what type(s) of raw material are to be extruded, etc., and conducting of numerous pre-delivery tests, CPC could expect the delivery date of such extruder to vary anywhere from four (4) to upwards of six (6) months from date of inital request.

July 6 (Hanford, CA):  Meeting with building representatives at anticipated facility site to discuss electrical output of equipment.  Also considered was the possibility of how our facility could contribute to a reduction of electric consumption.

MARCH - JUNE 12, 2009

On June 10, Johny Meijer, Wayne Ford and Peggy Johnson met with John Lehn, Jay Salyer (both of Kings. Co. EDC) and a building representative to revisit the site of the former Pirelli Bldg. located in Hanford.  It was determined that a 47,000 sq. ft. section of the building would be sufficient to begin our first manufacturing site.

John Lehn provided building’s layout & specifications along with employee hiring information.  He will also be connecting Wayne with a local real estate agent who can assist in his search for housing.

After funding has been confirmed, Johny will be providing electrical requirements that will coincide with the layout of all extruders and the supporting equipment that Wayne will provide.

On May 19 and 30, Johny, Wayne, and Peggy had follow-up meetings with the California State Official.  Discussions included the need to provide additional information to him by June 20 or earlier in preparation for his presentation to two potentially interested investors and to higher California governmental official(s).

The State official was handed a letter dated May 15, 2009 from the Home Depot broker which stated that Home Depot is interested in offering our products to the consumer.  Further, the letter indicated that in the event CPC’s products exceed sales at Home Depot, such products would include Lowe’s and Menard’s Home Improvement centers. On March 19 and 20, Johny Meijer and Peggy Johnson returned to Central California to meet with material recycling representatives at each of their facilities.  They were Mid Valley Disposal (City of Kerman); Kroeker, Inc., Sunset Waste Systems, Cedar Ave. Recycling & Transf., Station (all located in Fresno), and  the Avenal Landfill site.  Because the success of our operational site depends on a “steady” stream of raw material, it was necessary to determine if the combined (minimum) tonnage of raw material generated by these facilities would be sufficient to support such operations.  Hence, it was decided that it would be to our best interest to contact representatives of additional facilities located up to a 100 mile radius of the anticipated Hanford facility.

Upon the conclusion of their meeting at the Mid Valley facility, a representative offered them a tour of a nearby building to determine its potential and proximity to the recycling facilities that were visited.
On March 9, Johny, Wayne and Peggy met in Hanford at the Kings Waste & Recycling site with Kings Co. Economic Dev. Corp. representatives, John Lehn and Jay Salyer; Mark Sherman and Greg Gatzka of Kings Co. Planning Agency; Mike Virden of Kings Co. Fire Dept.; Jeff Monaco of Kings Waste & Recycling Authority (KWRA).

After viewing the video and prototypes, attendees realized the potential usefulness of our products.  Furthermore, direct reference was made that CalTrans has cited in a recent report that one of their objectives is to, “improve the process of incorporating higher-performance, lower-maintenance guardrail systems into projects” by 2012. At the conclusion of the meeting, a tour of the KWRA facility was provided to determine what grades and quantity of plastics they generated.

Thereafter, they toured a former Pirelli plant located in Hanford where two separate sections (amongst others) of the building were available.  Messrs. Lehn and Salyer suggested this site because of the reduced cost of leasing.

On February 26, Johny met with Kings Co. Economic Dev. Corp. representatives, John Lehn and James “Jay” Salyer to introduce our process and discuss CPC’s startup/operational requirements.  (Based upon his familiarity with the EDC’s needs, Mr. Lehn will determine if establishing CPC’s manufacturing plant would be advantageous to help minimize the excessive amount of film plastics that is being stockpiled at various locations within Kings Co.)
